What does the black section behind the keybed do?
print icon

The black section behind the standard keybed actually is part of the keys, forming one long key lever. The parts being black is a pure design decision.

With high sensitivity settings for the initial pressure of the Augmented Keyboard Action, you will be able to play chromatic glissando on it.
