migration tool reset prepares Osmose for a clean downgrade to the old filesystem of firmware version 1.x. Not to be used without instructions by our technical support staff.

factory reset resets the Osmose firmware to its factory state without any presets installed. A factory reset removes all sound presets, and initializes the global settings, the arpeggiator presets, as well as all your MIDI configuration user presets and arpeggiator presets of External MIDI mode. To restore factory sounds, you need to use the advanced mode of the application OsmoseUpdater (“push osmose factory collection”).
