A firmware update is not necessary at this time:

Osmose 61 already ships with the latest firmware, 2.0.25, which includes all the functionality that the current Osmose 49 with firmware 2.1.21 offers. Osmose 61 uses a different version numbering system than Osmose 49. We will eventually harmonize the version numbering to avoid possible confusion.

The OsmoseUpdater application currently only works with Osmose 49. Don't try to reflash or update the firmware with Haken Editor. It is not the correct application for this task.

Kindly contact our support team if you run into trouble and need to reinstall factory data or the same firmware on your Osmose 61.
