System Requirements

ArchéViolin, ArchéViola and ArchéCello are available as VST3, VST2 and AU only. You need a 64-bit host application supporting VST or AU plug-ins to play with Arché. Touché (SE) users can host Arché's VST version inside Lié Standalone.

macOS

macOS 10.10 and higher, 64bit host application. Please check this article regarding installing Arché under macOS 10.15 and higher

Windows

Windows 10 and higher, 64bit host application

Copy protection notice:

We use PACE iLok for anti-piracy purposes. You don't need an actual iLok dongle, since we allow the license to be activated directly on your computer. The free iLok License Manager is recommended for comfortably managing one's licenses.

Known Issues

Avid ProTools

Not compatible: We don't offer an AAX version of Arché for the moment, so ProTools is not supported.

Propellerhead Reason

Arché works fine when being hosted directly in Reason. Using it inside Touché (SE)'s companion app however won't work, because Reason doesn't let Touché (SE) communicate with Lié.

Native Instruments Maschine 2 (Arché hosted directly without Lié)

Bow automation can only be recorded if a Maschine control knob is mapped to the Bow.

When using control elements on a 3rd party MIDI controller, you will only be able to change the rest position of a control knob (restriction by Native Instruments). This way, you are able to play Arché in realtime, but you won't be able to record the movement of the bow, unless using Maschine hardware's own control knobs.

Since Maschine Mikro mk3 doesn't feature control knobs, you won't be able to record a bow movement when using this configuration at all.

Additional Notes

Arché is not tested in the non-listed DAWs, but it could work. We cannot guarantee a solution for issues in unsupported DAWs.
